Members of Parliament, private sector leaders, development partners, and civil society actors are gathering at the National Assembly for a high-level dialogue aimed at accelerating Senegal’s energy transition through strengthened public-private collaboration.

The Parliamentarians for Climate Finance project is bringing together financial experts, investors and guarantors with influential Members of Parliament from Botswana, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The focus will be on how Green Energy Zones and Corridors can unlock investment and power the productive uses of energy, from clean cooking and cold storage to agriculture and small-scale industry.

High-level Green Investment Dialogue to explore how Green Energy Zones can accelerate climate finance and clean energy deployment across Africa. This event will bring together senior Members of Parliament from Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, along with government leaders and investors in renewable energy.

As part of the Parliamentarians for Climate Finance project, we are bringing together financial experts, investors and guarantors with influential Members of Parliament from Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Guinea Conakry, Morocco and Senegal.
